Thanks for visiting my site. I’m a medieval and Renaissance musician and cultural manager based in Basel, Switzerland. A big part of my life is devoted to cooking up new programmes and traveling the world as Artistic Director of Ensemble Zweigulden, co-director of Ensemble Parlamento and founding member of Loreley Traverso Consort. Another huge part of my life involves directing concert series and festivals. I’m the Managing Director of ReRenaissance, which focuses on music before 1600, and Co-Managing Director of Interfinity, an interdisciplinary festival that bridges science and the arts with a particular focus on contemporary music. A third major interest is musicological research focusing on German secular music of the 16th century and the historical flute and drum duo in all its contexts.
