Medieval and Renaissance

Native Californian Holly Scarborough is a performer of medieval and Renaissance transverse flutes, pipe and tabor, and percussion; she has been invited to stages in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, France, England, Finland, Kosovo, and the United States. She directs Zweigulden, co-directs Ensemble Parlamento, and is Managing Director of ReRenaissance – Forum for Early Music, which commissions and premiers new monthly concert programs featuring the diverse repertoire of music before 1600 and hosts a biannual festival in Basel, Switzerland. Her scholarly research focuses on German secular music and the historical duo of flute and drum.
